2007 FIDO Day - Great Fun for All

Thanks to all who participated!
The History of FIDO Day
For five years
Clackamas County Dog Services celebrated National Tag Day each summer with its own special event, "Amnesty Day." Approximately 300 people attended the last Amnesty Day in 1994, which was co-sponsored by FIDO. The people came for the $5 rabies vaccinations (administered by local vets and County Commissioner (and veterinarian) Larry Sowa), $20 per animal micro-chipping, vendor booths, games for kids, training and other family activities.
Beginning in 2005, FIDO offered to take the lead in sponsoring FIDO Day. FIDO Day includes all the fun and services of Amnesty Day, but with the addition of a Walk for the Dogs fundraiser for the Clackamas County Dog Shelter.
