Benefactors and Volunteers Appreciation Dinner
FIDO's second annual Benefactors and Volunteers Appreciation Dinner was held February 9, 2005, at the Sunnybrook Service Center in Clackamas, Oregon.
Nearly 100 people attended to recognize long-term volunteers, special benefactors and some unique guests.
The most special guest was Marty (a.k.a. Sampson) - a dog who had been brought to the Clackamas County Dog Shelter with severe injuries. He was eventually adopted by the veterinarian who operated on him (pro bono) and was the inspiration for the Sampson Fund, established to pay the costs of veterinary care for dogs brought to the shelter.
