WHO WE ARE
Friends Involved in Dog Outreach - FIDO -- is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2004 to support the efforts of the Clackamas County, Oregon, Dog Services department to serve and protect the people and animals of Clackamas County in a professional and courteous manner.
FIDO supports the mission of Clackamas County Dog Services to:
- Promote humane treatment of animals
- Provide shelter and care for stray, injured and homeless dogs
- Educate Clackamas County residents
- Enforce Clackamas County dog licensing and control ordinances
- Respect the needs of Dog Services customers
- Provide community members who assist in mediation to help resolve dog issues
