WHO WE ARE

Friends Involved in Dog Outreach - FIDO -- is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization established in 2004 to support the efforts of the Clackamas County, Oregon, Dog Services department to serve and protect the people and animals of Clackamas County in a professional and courteous manner.

FIDO supports the mission of Clackamas County Dog Services to:

Promote humane treatment of animals
Provide shelter and care for stray, injured and homeless dogs
Educate Clackamas County residents
Enforce Clackamas County dog licensing and control ordinances
Respect the needs of Dog Services customers
Provide community members who assist in mediation to help resolve dog issues
